A little bit about Melanie of InStanza.
Melanie's journey with the written word began the moment she first grasped a pencil. It has been an enduring love affair that spans over more years than she cares to count, or truthfully admit!
​Holding senior roles in telecommunications over the past two decades, Melanie's true passion lies in the art of crafting speeches and creating one-off gifts for life.
​
With over twenty years of writing as a hobby, she set up InStanza in January 2021, and went from writing rhymed and traditional speeches to quickly identifying her bespoke service, the Instaframe. Soon after, she managed to clinch the much coveted title of Gifts and Favours Supplier of the Year Award 2023, at the prestigious WeddingsOnline Awards,which is an industry accolade that speaks volumes.
Not only does Melanie lend her creative touch to businesses seeking bespoke Instaframes for their hotel, restaurant or premises, Melanie also enjoys sharpening the pencil with her copywriting skills, by pinpointing the right words for either websites, marketing material, press releases or bio's.
​She is a regular contributor to the Irish Times, Letters to the Editor section.
​Melanie's approach to her craft is deeply personal. By inviting clients to complete a questionnaire, she ensures that each piece is a genuine reflection of their thoughts, imbued with humour, originality and sincerity.

When she's not wielding the pen, you're likely to find Melanie on the tennis court or indulging in her love for hillwalking. When time permits, she enjoys whipping up culinary delights, and loves to immerse herself in the pages of a good book. Presently, she navigates life with one husband and three teenage daughters.
